Lisa's French Adventures

Bring you up to date.

I've been writing complete bull shit on paper lately, nothing exciting, just thoughts. Then again I guess thoughts are better than nothing?

March 11 2009

I saw Mme Mandleson yesterday, HA jokes. Saw her twin minus the fire crotch and freckles. English teacher (Mrs.Hurts) wore purple - well lavender really - pants, purple shirt, purple purple purple. I remember reading harlequin with Mme Mandelson. Back to purple, this is Mme hurts we're talking about. Although Mme Mandelson had the lavender lip gloss, eye shadow and nail polish, Mrs Hurts had the lavender SHOES! Wow she really hates me, its hilarious and i love ever second.

So another teacher, the german teacher, hes big tall blond beer belly, dry crackng elbow skin, and he mokes. Now ask me WHERE he smokes.

"Where does he smoke Lisa?"

Well kids, let me tell you ... IN THE CLASS! Before each class theres like a 5 minute break. So Mr. German teacher locks his door, opens the tiny little windows (the class is underground, like a basement) and smokes in the class before us kiddies come in. Ugh the smoke smell in this class. it's probably sunken into the walls by now. have this gross gut feeling like I'm gonna throw up, but it too far down my throat for it to actually happen. Honestly this teacher would be long gone and fine or what ever, in Canada that is. Meryls mom sad that its only recent tat the law that you cant smoke indoors came up. Only recent, i wonder how long its been a law in Canada. ll look it up for France and Canada i guess one day ...

Fun fact: Did you know that Ontario is 410 522 km squared BIGGER than France?
A province, is bigger than a country, well yea but, still. ITS FRANCE!

It's after bio and after lunch, its now french class and they're talking about something regarding Caesar. Talking about f its right to fight (military) for some great leader that you've never met, never seen. Is it fair to put your life on the line for that? Meryl is doing math ... in french class. Rebel! This teacher, ou, shes special! Always wears pleather an see through articles of clothing. Pleather shirt and see through pants, vice versa, she does it all.

I really want to dance. Its ridiculous now. Just wanna blast a song, preferably Lights On by David Cook (love that song <3) style="text-align: center;">The Language?
The People?
The Home?
The Food?

Will i really be able to look back and see my experience as a positive or negative one? I really wonder if this minuscule amusement and home sickness is really worth only looking forward to a week in Paris, no even, like 4 days and a day and night in Paris again with ISE and my fellow Canadienne.

Key question: Is it all worth it?
